Oops, day late in posting this. Ok, so we are still doing 400 miles a day. We are switching out about 100 miles. Except for the 17. Traveling thru Idaho to Jerome, we started hitting winds up to 30 mph. Which got worst once we arrived and parked at the Jerome Elks Lodge. Winds were hitting 40mph.
The lodge opened at 4pm, which we went in, paid out $20 for electric and proceeded to have a class of wine and beer. Now, while we were having this, we met a couple who have a 2015 Entegra coach. As usual when this happens we talk Rv repairs and where we have been.
Anyway, we went home, and Susan said, you know those French fries we had. Yes, I said, they were really good. I wish I had some more. Well, of course, I went back order an order and a beer and then went home.
Anyway this is a different trip. No small towns, no small roads just a straight shop to Roadmaster in Vancouver, Washington. So, what are we doing? At least trying to take some different photos.
Once we left the Elks Lodge, around 0730, we headed northwest to Hermiston, Or. Did you know that Oregon has a PUC plate. This is something that certain vehicles can apply for which you do not have to pay the state tax. So, we paid $3.54 instead of $3.16.
Well we now know this. Anyway, we arrived an hour earlier, due to the time change again.
Anyway, we made contact with our rep at Roadmaster, we are schedule to arrive around0830 on Thursday. Everything is setup, and will be ready.
So, what's next, well photos from today.
Anyway, it was a fun day. Susan came down 6% grade that was over 6 miles long. Love that High Compression brake.
