Mountain Home Elks Lodge in Idaho

Our drive today, was 380 miles. That was spilt up into 4 changes, each being 90 miles each. Susan hit her first Alarm driving to day. Coolant High Temp. This first alarm is 217 degrees F. She pulled over, parked, accelerated engine to 1500 RPM. Within a few minutes back down to 190 degrees.

All was good.

Except for the Big Heat Wave here in the southwest, part of the northwest, central - basically all of the US is in a heat wave.

Here are a few photos from Lepage Campground to Mountain Home.

Upon zooming in She was being given a bracelet to wear

Learned something new about our Ford. If you turn the engine off, without putting it in part. It Shifts the Transmission into Park itself.
