June 23rd

Well, Bet you didn't think you hear from us so soon

The Advent of Starlink is just getting better and better. Just north of Dease Lake.  Here we are, on a pullout on the Cassiar Hwy, next to the Dease river.

N58.850228, W130.0439278

We are all setup. Like my belief in the Mile Post - Great Views. Right. But dale look at the photos you took.

Yet Dakota and I did manage to get down to the river, however, the trail is no longer any good for walking. Trees and bushes are very overgrown and the trail is gone. But we did manage to go and get a few shots.

So, what is the topic for today. Well how about the Cassiar Highway itself. We left Meziadin Provincial Park at 8:30. So the photos I am going to show you are the road itself. Very little description will be required, as you will see.

As truly wonderful the Cassiar Hwy is, and the landscape is today, truly a wilderness. An example, we read about the mountain sheep. They roll themselves in a rust color dust. They come out looking like an orange to red sheep. The advertisers  talk them up in brochures. However they do not tell you, unless you are a hunter, willing to go far back into the wilderness you will never see on. Much less there is no road to take back into the wilderness.

anyway, the photos, start just outside of the Meziadin Provincial park, and go north to Dease lake. You truly see the beauty of the area. I have other photos along the highway to show you.

But First a question: How Do You Know That a Bear Shits in the Forest/Woods ?
