We cross the border, on the morning of 7th., at Roosville border crossing.
The agent was pleasant and very professional. He asked about weapons, if we were bringing in anything and if we were planning to leave it in Canada, rabies papers for the puppies. He was also very happy that Susan was very organize.
Next thing we knew, it was have a nice day and enjoy Canada.
Our first day was spent in a city called Radium Hot Springs. Specifically RidgeView Resort. Susan located this place using RPI. Cost $62, for 2 nights.
Nice Canadian Resort, where people come to get away. Very quite area, with 2 pools, game room, computer room. Showers etc.
Our site was ok, I should have moved over another foot, however, we were not moving in. Dish Satellite work for 2 of the 3 sat's. Starlink was good with some obstructions, but good enough for streaming and zoom meetings.
However the one thing that is very different from our 2015 trip. Is the weather. For 3 weeks we wore long pants, light to heavy jackets and sometimes rain garb. Weather did not get good until about a week before Watson Lake.
This is what we are looking at in the next week. Even the IceField north of Banff is low 60's.
