We hit the road leaving Belle Fourche early morning on Thursday.
The drive a little longer than we wanted, but what the heck, we would be entering unknown territory. Along the way we spotted a very large coal mining operation along with roadside signs.
Lunch alongside the road, seeing the sights. Before we left Belle Fourche we toured the Spearfish Canyon just southeast of Belle Fourche.
The Rocky Point Recreation area is wonderful area, sites are on the water front very large and level. Dog friendly and nice people.
By the way, traveling with Wayne & Kathy. He is a great guy with a great life story but more more importantly great outlook on life. Maybe someday he will write about it and share it with everyone.
Well we will be off on a new adventure someplace today.
