How about where I left off, hummm no. I am going to dance around with what we have been doing since leaving Clermont, Florida.
Well for starters, we stayed in John Prince Park Campground for 12 days. Doing cleanup and visiting. Among the many items we located were old photos, electronics, slides, and Knick knacks. Some of which I will post.
Also, we stopped in and visited Roger and Janice Brooks, whom we met in 2013. They retired in 2014 and became full timers, and during the winter months they volunteer at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
One thing, about wildlife refuges, if you know someone there you will definitely enjoy the time spent visiting. Especially if the people you are visiting are very knowledgeable, like Janice and Roger are. Their knowledge of plant, animal, and bird life in the refuge make it even a more enjoyable and exciting place to visit.
I have placed a link here to some of their writings, which they have accomplished while volunteering there.

But alas it was time to pack up and head north. North to where, where will DaGirls Rv take us? Well between Della and Susan, they both wanted to head to St Lucie Locks. This is a COE 9 site park right on the St Lucie river that flows to Lake Okeechobee via locks due to the water level. Once there and setup we were able to score an additional night, which allowed us to revisit the area.
But this time we scored 2 seats on a river tour, called the River Lilly Cruises.
The cruise lasts about 1 1/2 or 2 hrs, depending on what they see and stop for.

But alas our time ran out and it was time for DaGirls to go, and head up to Merritt Island, located on the coast and next to the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral. But before you continue reading, check the photos:
We located the Moose Lodge, and setup camp and checked in, and then it was time to head out and do the sight seeing thing.
What’s the main draw here? Why the Kennedy Space Center, of course. What’s the space center? Why the main launching center for manned flights. Remember the movie Apollo 13? Yep you guessed it. This is the place.
Our next location was St Augustine, and another Elks Lodge. Once there we setup, checked in and found a laundromat, as we had a rug to wash - thanks to hard braking and coffee pot fling. Now the lodge has nine sites, we just happened to pick the one with electrical issues later in the day. Good thing we were only staying 1 day, as the weather was turning and without A/C DaGirls were not happy. So, once we were done sight seeing:
and daylight arose it was off again, heading north.
Where you ask? This time to a Thousand Trail CG called The Oaks at South Point, a little southwest of Yemassee, SC. Our digs for the next 5 nights.
Of course what is DaGirls Blog without Della:
Della always knows what to say.
"That's my story and I'm sicking to it"
“SeeYa, Safe and Happy Journeys”
"DaGirls Rv, Me, Della, Susan & Tilly"
