Our stay in Blackfoot lasted 2 days - of sunny weather. Weather warm for a 4 mile walk-a-bout town. Our site was very large, with 50 amps and water, $20/nite. Very large green grass in front, as we choose to park the opposite direction.
Dakota and I have been doing 2 miles in the morning with another 2 miles with Susan and Tilly. Tilly will sometimes come along with Dakota and me.
Blackfoot is in the heart of Potato Country, 50% of the potatoes from Idaho are grown in the eastern region. So a stop in at the Potato Museum is well worth it. Especially to try the Potato Ice Cream.
You can easily walk from the park to the Museum, as it is only 1.5 miles meandering thru town. Walmart is the same, 1.3 miles from RV park.
You can get around very easily. We also went exploring to Wolverine Canyon. I don't know if we really found it, as we traveled thru farm fields, cattle and horse ranches until we enter into BLM country.
We choose not to engage in the local restaurants, nor did we find a local coffee shop.
Our drive to the city was easily done with 1 driver change out. Susan, has been taking a more active approach to connecting the Ford to the RV. As we both need to keep our practice up.
