I am a retired Aerospace Engineer, and Susan is a retired Human Resource Manager and Real Estate Broker. After a lengthily discussion with our financial adviser, we opted to sell our custom built home.
In 2004 we purchase 1 1/4 acres at the base of the Superstition Mountains outside of Apache Junction. This is where we found our niche, our place to retire. At the time we built it, we thought we had built our forever home. Well needless to say the plans of mice and men are always subject to change. As life would have it, we felt it was better to offload the home and move into the DaGirls RV. After 1 more year at Honeywell on April 24th, 2013, I handed my badge and computer to my manager, shook his hand and said goodbye.

Our road to retirement started with 2 chocolate labs:
We named our rig DaGirls, because of our two chocolate labs; Koko on the left and Della on the right, We knew we would need a 40 footer, if only because they said so. Koko likes room to stretch out and boy could she stretch. Unfortunately Koko passed away before I retired, but her spirit continues to travel with us.
We now have, I don't know what you call it, but Susan calls it Tilly, Silly Tilly, to me on the other hand I have assorted other names to call her:
