29 days until Albuquerque International Balloon Festival.
We will leave on Sep. 24 and head out. Plan,, arrive on Sunday, overnight camp and arrive at the South Rv lot on Monday morning. Information we have received is we are being moved to another area all in favor of the $$$$$. The area we are moving to was very unlevel last few years. Even we would not stay there. Susan and I have arranged to meet with officials on Sep 7 or 8 at the South Rv lot. We are going to verify that the conditions have been improved. In our opinion, we have 22 MH. Total value of $2 million.
As this is our wrap-up here in at the Happy Cabin, let's see what has been going on.
Rv's pad's. We have spent $$$ arranging room for for 4 Alfas with 30 amps, water, and access to the dump. If on the other hand you do not need power, we have room for 1 or 2 dry-campers. At this time, we will not have Mooch Camping - as we have to recoup the $$ in developing the pads. All camping will only be allowed while we are on-site.
In addition the final big maintenance item is done - Back side of roofing along with gutters installed.
We had our first camping partner for the summer. This allowed us to try the main pad for campers.
Also, we were going crazy not getting back out into the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest (A-S NF), and dry camping. Mike and Lorraine joined us in this adventure. What do I do when we are there ? Take long hikes in the forest itself.
Ok, time for the Photos review:
