Return of he Poster

Well, it seems Della has forego her opportunity of posting to her blog these last 2 weeks. So, I guess it is up to me to catch everyone up as to where and what we have been doing since Snyder Hill. AKA last post.

So, where have we landed, a little known RV resort called RoVer’s Roost SKP CO-OP park, 8 miles west of Casa Grande.

As this is really the first time we have taken time out to know and understand SKP’s CO-OP parks. These parks allow lease holders for the lot. Pay 1 time and hold it until you put it back and all you pay is a maintenance and operation fee once a year.

Since we have arrived, we have been cleaning, fixing, and just overall getting our small jobs caught up. Some of these are cables, relays, computers, papers, house hold drawers.

We have already made a few friends along with placing our name on the waiting list for a lot. Yep, you heard it we are on the list for a lot. It seems this is just the place for us to lay low for a while. Place between Tucson and Phoenix. Nothing o busy or massive. A little peton place sometimes, but everyone gets along.

Now while we have been here, we/I have gone for walks in the area – mainly out in the desert about.

Along with taking photos of the area, people and a little of life.

Della and Susan have been happy and busy checking things out and seeing things.

We have also were able to visit with Irene and Armand, our friends from Canada. we have enjoyed many a night with them since leaving Quartzsite. We have spent time see many other Roadrunner members that are staying in Palm Creek Golf and RV resort.

What did we do? Sit back, visit close friends (Sandy and Rex) who I forgot to get a photo of. We all worked for a concessionaire at the Spillway Campground up in the High Country east of Payson, AZ.

And of course a good place to take a few photos and play with our solar:

And of course play a little with our solar panels:

The highest watts we achieved was 754 watts

We also came across 3 families traveling o together, one of the families were in a Blue Bird Wanderlodge - Web info

All 3 have been together for over a year traveling in the USA and Canada.

Fun time in the Sun

So, it’s been a very fast pace here. Sun comes up, sun goes down. What more do you want in life. Except, beach, lovely wife and your trustee friend.

We have been chilling out and enjoying new friends and old ones. Walk on the beach and around town. Checkin out the new sites and seeing the old ones around town.

So, instead of posting the same old same old, I thought you would enjoy just some photos.
