6_2_16_Railroad Historical Center

Susan, and I like finding train museum’s. Each one we find is unique. When Don and Sheri suggested we visit the Greenwood Railroad Historical Center, of course we said yes.

Through our travels we have visited many museums that house trains, tracks, Round-Houses and even old train yards. Many of them boasting of renovated cars. We have never come across one like here in Greenwood.

The museum was started by 2 men, through the years, they collected an Engine & coal car. Dining, Executive, Electric, Caboose and a few others. Most of them are open and available to you the public, to view and walk thru.

They provide tours, for the small fee of $5.00, presented by a very knowledgeable person.

what Susan even got to ring the bell. Ringing the bell is not as easy as some people might think it is.

Well, time to say goodbye for know.

Della always knows what to say.

"That's my story and I'm sicking to it"
“SeeYa, Safe and Happy Journeys”

"DaGirls Rv, Me, Della, Susan & Tilly"
